Reveal

Sometimes things don’t work out the first time.  They need to be looked at from a different point of view. What you find here are images that revealed themselves to me. I negative painted around them to reveal them for you. When possible I will include the before with the after.

Hummer, acrylic on synthetic paper, 20 x 26 in.

Some of my original pieces did not meet me expectations so I needed to look at them from a different point of view.

Koi, acrylic on synthetic paper, 20×26 in.

Negative painting means that I painted out some of the original piece. In the piece below all of the blue paint is negative painting. The leaves and birds are left from the original fractal piece of art.
Jungle Birds, acrylic on synthetic paper, 20 x 26 in.

Red Birds, acrylic on synthetic paper, 20 x 26 in.
